The redesigned Simpson Strong-Tie® Strong-Drive® SDCF Timber-CF screw is a structural fastener designed for cross-laminated timber (CLT), mass timber construction and general interior applications, providing uncompromised strength for demanding applications. The large flat head with underhead nibs enables clean countersinking and a flush finish. The SawTooth® point ensures fast starts, reducing installation torque and eliminating the need for predrilling in most applications. The black e-coat finish enhances aesthetics and, along with the optimized hardness profile, helps mitigate risk of brittle fracture for reliable, long-term performance.
