Simpson Strong-Tie DGT28 DGT™ Top-Flange Fire Wall Hanger for 2x8

Ideal for multifamily, multilevel Type III residential construction, the patent-pending Simpson Strong-Tie® DGT™ fire wall hanger is load tested and fire rated. It's the first fire wall hanger designed to install with a power nailer, saving time before hanging drywall, which helps keep construction projects on schedule. The DGT model is offered in a wide range of sizes, making it simple to select and use. This top-flange hanger provides space for two layers of 5/8-in. gypsum board (drywall) to be slipped into place after the framing is complete. The DGT has been tested according to ASTM E814 and is fire rated for use on both sides of the wall. The DGT fire wall hangers are made in the US, widely available, and backed by our expert service and technical support.

This Simpson product is designed for construction, connector, fastening, anchoring, and structural applications where dependable performance, durability, and jobsite-ready installation matter.
